Re: Kurt Warner

I definitely agree with your feeling that Arizona will try and move towards better offensive balance, especially since I believe they've got the RB to do it (Wells). 450 carries though is a ton and I don't believe the Cardinals' offensive line is good enough to sustain this (they regressed some this...

Re: Kurt Warner

Kurt Warner should be a lock for the HOF as of the Cardinals winning the NFC Championship last year... Maybe not first ballot, but by second or third he should be in. You can play the "if he didn't play with players A, B, and C" games with most great players, so I take that with a grain of...

Re: Team Defense (ugh) Sleepers

And rwood. Where you headed to, buddy? Nowhere... This site just isn't close to being worth what it costs any longer, IMO. It's definitely a combination of me being ultra-locked in myself (i.e.: I'm ahead of Draftsharks therefore their "analysis" is of no added value to me) and a signific...

Re: Wells for Greene? Would you?

Take my advice for what it's worth to you, but don't get emotionally charged over ANY guy for what he does over a 2-week period (especially in a keeper/dynasty format where a big mis-step could be a deep cut for years). I don't see how Greene having two nice games (and even decent play at the end of...

Re: Team Defense (ugh) Sleepers

Depends on the terms of the bet I proposed; I offered a top-10 finish OR an over/under of ~227 fantasy points. The latter I would have won, the former I would have lost. I would have manned up and honored a lost bet but unfortunately he wasn't even willing to give me the courtesy of a response... Oh...

Re: Wells for Greene? Would you?

There's no way I'd trade Chris Wells for Shonn Greene in a keeper format.

Re: Early Trade

Considering non-PPR, I'm not as gung-ho as the two posters ahead of me, but this is also a deal I'd make if I were you. It also allows you to get younger at WR, which is nice.

Re: New Keeper League-Do you freeze rosters after season?

I lock rosters in my league once the championship game has been played , everyone is free to make moves like normal up until this point. Everyone getting upset about the commish picking someone up off waivers needs to know exactly what happened before getting out of line. OP says commish dumped the...

Re: A thought for week 17 leagues

Or, just have your title game in week 16. IMO, any league extending meaningful fantasy games beyond week 16 is simply asking for trouble. With something like this, you're potentially extending a championship "game" out 3 weeks (week 17 through the divisional round). I don't see how that wo...

Re: New Keeper League-Do you freeze rosters after season?

I'd throw the BS flag up on the commish dumping someone's roster and then going on a midnight raid on those players... All of my leagues are considering "inactive" as of the end of week 16. Guys can drop players at will after week 16 but no one can be picked up after this time. I'd questio...

Re: San Diego starters

I'm too lazy to figure tiebreakers, but San Diego is only two games up on New England with two games left so they may need to win one more to lock up that #2 seed... Either which way, IMO week 16 is too early to start resting guys as it'll literally be a month before you play again. That's too long....
