Re: Antonio Brown

With all do respect, Ben also considers "no" to mean "yes". His opinion means little to me. Only his play on the field matters. Just my two cents. LOL. I don't look to NFL players as my moral compass, but B. Roeth is one of the few players who I really don't care for. Thankfully...

Re: Trading down this year.

Can you get any extra juice aside from moving up in the 2nd? maybe swap 4ths as well. I'd be willing to do it if you really don't care who you get at 9... it's possible that you could be looking at Foster, Morris, and Calvin if the draft goes like this: 1. Peterson 2. Martin 3. Charles 4. Spiller 5....

Re: Drafting Healthy Players..

I've been moving all of the injured guys to the bottom of their prospective tiers. That includes Jamal Charles, who I was looking forward to grabbing with the 4th pick in my main league. But why take the risk? Fantasy managers tend to be way too arrogant in their ability to predict player performanc...

Re: Drafting Tonight - Thoughts on JChaz

Big $$$ PPR re-draft league is tonight. With the recent news of the JChaz foot sprain - what are the overall thoughts of drafting him? Is this 'injury' enough to scare you away because that will be a lingering issue? For a guy that makes as many cuts as he does, will that foot be a season long head...

Re: QB Depth: I'm worried it's not as deep as we think

Great post NancyBoy. One main reason people are predicting QB to be deep this year is because it was deep last year. However, if you look back to 2011, there was a huge advantage to getting Rodgers and Brees. Here's an example of the way preseason rankings are driven by last years performance: 1. Pe...

Or real drafts. He went in the 4th round last week of my first $$$ draft of the season. Luckily for the guy who wasted a pick on AH, there are plenty of decent options on the wire to choose from.

Re: Comeback Player of the Year

The projection for Fitz in '13 is the same as what was expected from Chad Johnson during Palmer's & Chad's peak years in '04-'07. I am not sure that I am reading your comment clearly. Are you saying that the DS projection for Fitz is too high in that it currently lines up with Johnson's best ye...

Re: Your Favorite Sleepers

I agree with many of the names listed except for Gronk and Williams. I was looking forward to grabbing Hernandez again until the "acquaintance" of his was murdered. Gronk has too much name power and will go earlier than I will want to pay considering the injuries. Williams just doesn't do...

Re: Comeback Player of the Year

I've been as big a Fitzgerald fan as anyone over his career, but I'm hesitant to pay his price tag this year. He's consistently being drafted as the 7th WR off the board, which leaves little margin for error. I guess I'll give him a look if he makes it to the 3rd round, but there are probably 24 guy...

Re: DS Breakout Player... guessing game

Stich & ski, both valid arguments, and I respect your opinions, but I just don't see it. I personally think that the biggest arguments fantasy players are going to have this offseason are on David Wilson, Cam Newton, and the rookie RBs. And it will be like politics. Regardless of what side you ...

Re: Your Favorite Sleepers

I am praying to god that Andrew Luck's ADP stays where it is at. If I can grab him in the late 6th-early 7th rounds, I will be one ecstatic drafter! Air Stich, you talked about the "eye test" in another post, and that is exactly what I see in this kid. I was so impressed by him last seaso...

Re: Your Favorite Sleepers

Injury Risk but Stud when healthy due to his RUNNING. For a passing QB, RG3 was ok at best. Injury Risk but Stud when healthy. Ugh no. Mike Williams. God no. I'll see it when I believe it in Floyd. I'm not a believer in the Cardinals. Foster is just better when healthy. Maybe they will realize they...

Re: My 1st Dynasty start up. IDP

The team looks pretty strong to me. I can't speak for the defensive players, but I like the direction you went at RB, QB, and TE.

Are there really 5 players going before Martin in startup dynasty leagues? I thought he was a top 2 pick.
