I think DS is right on with slotting him as a value in rd 4-5, and I wouldn't reach to pick him. I don't see much from his numbers so far to think of him as a premier back. I'm one of those that is wondering why Forte is rated so highly. His YPC last year was <4.0, and a big part of his numbers were a result of a massive amount of touches including 60+ recpts that were the result of a check-down QB in Orton. Basically I think its a gimmick pick, not a strategy. I've always hated when two of my top picks were on the same team. There's always too much variation in performance from one year to the next, and most times at least one of your top 5 picks ends up underperforming. If their performance is linked,...

I do agree on waiting for a QB, however I've come to firmly believe that a Top tier TE is a true difference maker on standard rosters with no Flex players. And if your league is PPR or awards bonus for receptions (mine gives 1 pt for every recpt over 4 for RBs & TEs), it's even more advantageous...
