One more thought...what about changes to the bylaws? I know that it says the commissioners can make a change that's in the best interest for the league if it's needed. I'm assuming that means during the season there's an oversight to the rules that needs to be adjusted you guys have the power to do that. I'm cool with that. My question is about major rule changes to the league. For example let's say before next season starts we want to add IDP. Would a major change like that require a league vote? If so, what percentage of the owners have to approve of the change?
All my great ideas, I've regretted most of them.

How about voted on by the league, requires 9 of the 12 owners' votes, and must be voted in by keeper declaration date to be instituted for that coming season?

*Edit - I would add that in the case of any new owners, they do NOT get a vote, and it drops to 8 of 11 returning voters, etc... But thats just nitpicking.

Do we need to add anything that addresses who takes over control of the team if it happens during the season and what happens to the players on the team?

Maybe add something like...the commissioners will take over any team abandoned during the season and run that the team until the season concludes. Then during the off season a replacement will be found and they will take over that roster.

Sorry to be such a pest over this but I've been in a keeper league and a team has been abandoned. That team was then dumped and a couple of the teams snagged some of the better players off of the team.
All my great ideas, I've regretted most of them.

Any major changes (scoring/lineups/IDP, etc). would go up for a vote.
Most my leagues go majority so 7 either way locks it up.

I added that to the last part of the bylaws.
I'm good with how they are now.
If everyone else is, I'll have Jared lock this thread.
