Week 6 Values...

Postby soup2345 » Tue Oct 07, 2014 8:29 pm

Has anyone taken a look at this week's salaries and seen any values?

My early leans....keep in mind I play tourneys so some of these may not be great 50/50 games or head to head games.

Qb.
Bortles (6400)--he had a sub par game last week but that has to be his floor. He only needs to score 13 points which is very doable. He also has sneaky rushing potential and I could easily see him running for a TD. He will be very underused this week since he only had 7 points last week

Bridgewater(5900). He is at home but who knows how he will be after his injury. He certainly did not look like a rookie his first game and the offense looked like it had new life. He also comes cheap this week and only needs to put up 12 points. Anything over that is gravy.

Rb--
McCoy (8000) he has certainly looked like poop this year but with the # of touches he is getting each week he is bound to have a break out game at some point. Also, he is much cheaper than he was a few weeks ago so he provides plenty of upside. Last week he was used in around 8% to 9% of tourneys so I would not be surprised to see him used in under 5% of entries.

Ellington (7200) not as much of a value as last week but he is always a home run threat and only needs one big play to recoup his salary. I imagine he will be in quite a few more lineups since he had such a big game last week

J. Bell (6500). If he plays, he should have the backfield to himself with Bush out. With him getting all the goaline work he could easily get a couple tds plus he is always a threat in the passing game. Another under used candidate

A. Williams (6300) could easily put up RB1 numbers with Jennings out, but I think he will be used in too many entries for my liking this week.

Sankey (5600). He is bound to have a breakout game and this week could be it. Playing Jax at home and since he is coming off a very disappointing game he will be very under used in tourneys this week.

WR--

Jeffrey (7700). Playing Atl on turf. He hasn't had that 150 yard 2 td game yet this year and I think that it's coming very soon. He presents almost the same upside of a guy like Julio but comes at a discounted rate.

Wallace (6500). He's scored in 3 of 4 games this year and has been very consistent.

Randle (5900). Nice red zone target and he has been targeted 10 times the last 3 weeks. Law of averages would say that he is bound to turn some of those into catches

Hurns (5200). As long as shorts is still out he will get plenty of looks. That's really all you can ask for from a lotto ticket like Hurns.

TE- honestly I hate the TE position most weeks. I always pick the wrong guy it seems so take any of these picks with a grain of salt.

Bennet (5900). He has been getting a ton of looks especially in the red zone and cutler seems to trust him. He also burned a lot of people last week with his 3 point performance so he will probably be somewhat underused.

Cameron (5800). I think he gets a td this week and he will probably be used in less than 1% of entries

Thoughts?? Critiques

Guys...I am INCREDIBLY bad at this so far this year LOL. I mean...I suck...hanging at the halfway mark or just below in all my contests, so I'm getting something wrong.

I would love critique on my lineup this week...really, feel free to laugh...just help me! I freaking hate being bad like this...a $2 cash is all I freaking need at this point LOL.

DraftKings:

QB Matt Ryan - $8600
RB Branden Oliver - $5500
RB Andre Williams - $5400
WR Julio Jones - $8400
WR Brandon Marshall - $6300
WR John Brown - $4000
TE Jason Witten - $3600
Flex Andre Ellington - $5100
DST Broncos - $3100

I really wanted Marshawn Lynch or Forte in there, but couldn't make it work without a significant downgrade at WR and/or QB and I really wanted to get as much a piece of the shootout in Atlanta as I could.

are you entering the large tourney fields or the 50/50-headsup type games?

Don't panic if you're middle of the pack in those type of tournaments. Maybe try some 50/50s or H2Hs and see how you do there.

Thoughts?

with the news of Greene nursing a bad hammy, what does everyone think of Sankey this week against Jax ?

He comes dirt cheap on FanDuel with a salary of $5600. I really like his upside in the GPP tourneys and I hope he will be underused since he really hasn't done much this season.

He may be an underused gem this week with everyone falling in love with Andre Williams, Oliver, and possibly Hillman.
I really like the pairing of Sankey with Joique Bell ($6500) this week for my rbs as this will give you so much flexibility in the rest of your lineup.
