What did we learn from Last Night's Games?

Postby guygrim » Fri Aug 25, 2017 2:02 pm

I was only able to watch a bit of the Eagles / Dolphins Game..

Take away..
1. Jay Ajayi is for real. I was not sold on him previously.. Last night he looked exceptional.
2. Cutler is going to be fine and Parker / Landry are going to do their thing.. I think Cutler also like Julius Thomas!
3. Wentz - Kid has potential.
4. Ertz provided he does not get injured AGAIN can have a great year.
5. jeffery's - I have no problem taking Jeffery at the right spot!

Anyone watch or have opinions on the Carolina Game?

TE: J. Thomas / C. Fleener

I didn't watch, but I do feel like ppl have to start putting Orange Julius on their radar now. The implications of the Tannehill to Cutler switch haven't really altered the public's perception of this offense enough maybe. And I am starting to feel some regret for having faded Parker so far in drafts.

I only did about 5 MFL10s last month, but I ended up with an Ertz/Fleener combo at TE twice. Love their value, and the PPR upside Ertz represents.

Also consider how well the Cutler / Bennett combo was a few years back.. Cutler and do that for Orange Julias.

I like the Ertz / Fleener Combo, too..

I'm not as down on Cutler as the rest of the universe. He could even be an upgrade. That Miami offense could be legit.

Carolina game: Cam looked good. Wanted to see more Funchess. Benjamin is being undervalued. I'd be wary of over-valuing McCaffrey- I think Stewart will keep a significant role all year as long as he stays healthy as he looked pretty good. The Jags offensive line play was pretty ugly
My post count says I'm a rookie, but I've been giving bad advice here for years!
