Trade targets at RB

Postby ProfPoobah » Thu Sep 14, 2017 3:14 am

So while all the starting RB rookies went for a ridiculous amount in my keeper auction draft, including me overpaying like crazy for Mixon at $31, there are some nice young RB that could be interesting prospects for a couple of years. Please rank the following, considering that their value will go up $5 a year. 1/2 PPR, point for 10 yards rushing/receiving, 6 points for a TD

Alvin Kamara ($5)
Marlon Mack ($9)
Donta Foreman ($2)
Chris Carson ($3)
Tarik Cohen ($4)
Samaje Perine ($3)

Carson - Even though the Seattle backfield seems a jumbled mess atm, Lacy looks fat and slow, and neither Rawls or Prosise can stay on the field.
Perine - I think this talent is eventually going to surface to the top, maybe the second half of this year.
Foreman - a little bit of a Homer pick, but this kid is a beast, I just think Miller holds him off a little longer than Kelly does Perine in DC.
Cohen - I don't think he is big enough to be a "feature" back, but may have more RB3 / flex appeal earlier than the others
Kamara - He looks good, but Saints RB's are harder to trust than Patriots.
Mack - Honestly, I know nothing about him, so maybe he belongs at the top.

I like how you had them, except I'd bump carson and cohen up and move foreman below them. With respect to cost I might move mack down below carson and cohen. Even if he plays half the year and does well, which with gore playing and luck still out for who knows, is he really going to be worth $14 next year? I'd think it would be easier to swallow the cost of the others. So that said:

Alvin Kamara ($5)
