Brees at 13th overall...too early???

Postby L.A.Riot » Mon Aug 25, 2008 4:21 am

Our league scores nicely for QBs... 6 pts. for passing TDs (same as all positions)...2 pts. for 100 yds. passing and 2 pts. for every 20 yards after.

So a 300 yd. passing game = 22 points
Throw in a few TDs and you have a huge game (30+ pts)

By comparison, a RB would need 180 yds. and 2 TDs to score 30 pts.

I know Brees will be there at #13...seriously doubt he'll be there at #27.

I should be able to grab MBIII at #8. I would to start my draft with MBIII and Brees.

Do I pull the trigger???

With those scoring rules for QB's I would be all over it. Brees should be in for a great year.
