16 team league (slim pickins but more challenging!)

Postby zerk » Mon Aug 25, 2008 5:59 pm

The private money league I play in drafted. There are 16 teams so it's more challenging (more fun IMO). This is our 13th season! It's standard scoring, we play 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1FLEX, 1K, 1 D/ST.

I pulled the #6 draft position and here's what I came away with....

QB - B.Rothlisberger
QB - J.Campbell
RB - S.Jackson
RB - M.Turner
RB - R.Rice
WR - L.Evans
WR - N.Burleson
WR - A.Randle El
TE - K.Boss
TE - B.Watson
K - J.Scobee
K - M.Stover
D/ST - PATRIOTS
D/ST - DOLPHINS

I was pleased for the most part. Would have liked a more proven #2 RB, but I have high hopes for Turner. Remember it's a 16 team league so don't slam me too hard. 8)

I would like to have seen a better WR 2 or 3 but with 16 teams that's hard to do. I have a feeling you'll be combing the waiver wire for that WR later in the season though. In a 16 team draft I think you did great at RB and QB. TE seems like a rough spot too, because I felt there were about 10 TE's I would have been happy to draft, maybe 12 and Boss wasn't one of them. He could prove me wrong though.
