2nd Most Important Team

Postby Celow » Mon Aug 25, 2008 6:28 pm

I had the 12th pick in a 12 team draft. It went real RB heavy to start the draft, so I elected to go with the WR/WR drafting method. I've never gone this route before so wish me luck. I know my RB situation stinks but everytime I had someone pegged to get they were taken with two or three picks in front of me. Guys were specifically taking picks to try and hurt me eventually, but either way, it may have ramifications on there own team. For example, Chris Johnson went in rd 7, Ricky Williams in rd 5, Chris Perry in rd 7 and so on. Thoughts? Is my RB situation really as bad as I feel like it is?

I like your RBs, it's just not glistening with all the raw, young guys like Rice, K. Smith, Chris Johnson etc etc etc.... Of course we know that half of these 20 kids will never make much impact in this league. They can't all be stars.

If you are able to start all 3 of those first 3 picks (one being a flex probably) then you are going to be in great shape. If you can't start all three then you will be able to upgrade at Rb with an easy-to-pull off trade. I like the strategy here. It worked VERY well.

I obviously like your team as I elected to go WR/WR/QB to start and then took A. Johnson over Turner and McGahee.

Colston at 3.12 is crazy. How does that happen? There must have been a lot of WR's that went before him. You potentially have the top 3 WR's in the league in a 12 teamer.

Good luck upgrade your RB's this season.

We start 1/2/3/1/1/1. I should have mentioned that.

I am not crazy about the RBs, but they may do just fine. You never know. The QBs and TE look solid. However, I love those WRs. Colston that late is definitely a steal.

Good luck.
